Energy Research Center Astana, Kazakhstan

The EXPO 2017 Astana exhibition complex is a unique project not only in its architectural design, but also in the technical equipment of the structures. The master plan was developed by the Chicago architectural firm Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill.  The main theme of the exhibition is "Energy of the Future". The symbol of the exhibition is the Nur Alem pavilion. It is the largest spherical building in the world with a diameter of 80 meters and a height of 100 meters. Due to the installation of wind turbines and photovoltaic panels, the building itself is able to generate energy. Glass and aluminum are the main architectural materials. Volumetric aluminum panels in the color Cladding Solutions DARK SILVER are the most environmentally friendly of all the building materials used in the project, as they are a reusable material.
